The NHL set aside some time during Wednesday night’s NHL Awards to allow EA Sports to unveil the first official trailer for NHL 19 and the game’s cover athlete and the trailer did not disappoint hockey fans or fans of the game.

EA Sports revealed that Nashville Predators defenceman P.K. Subban will grace the cover of the upcoming release that’s set to hit shelves early September, but they made another announcement on Twitter shortly after. Aside from the regular version of NHL 19 that will feature Subban on the cover, EA Sports will also release a Legends and an Ultimate Edition of the game that will feature two different Wayne Gretzky photos.

The Legends Edition will feature a photo of Wayne Gretzky holding the Stanley Cup in an Edmonton Oilers jersey, while the Ultimate Edition will feature an image of Wayne Gretzky in a Los Angeles Kings jersey.

The difference between the Legends and Ultimate Edition games compared to the standard version is the fact that users will receive their choice of 1 HUT Cover Athlete item, choice of 1 HUT Legend item, choice of 1 HUT Rookie item and an unlocked hockey bag, while the standard version comes with five HUT packs which they will receive one per week for five weeks.
