WHAT WAS THE BEST NHL DRAFT...2015 OR 2003?

Ah, hockey debates. 

They always end with people on the same page about the argument in question, right?

Yeah, pretty much never, but that's why they're so great! 

The NHL draft is in the air right now, and the 2023 class is highlighted by players who project to be franchise-altering in Connor Bedard and Adam Fantilli. With such a highly-touted draft upon us right now, it makes sense that we're reminiscing on NHL draft of years past.  

Two of the most famous NHL Drafts of all time are 2003 and 2015. 2003 was widely considered the best and deepest of ever, but recently, the 2015 draft that produced McDavid, Eichel, Marner, and more has challenged that legacy.
