Finally...Mascot Power Rankings have come back to BarDown.

It's been a while, we know you missed the rankings and they missed you, too, but we're back, we're better than ever, and we're not going anywhere.  As long as mascots are going viral in the sports world, we'll be ranking them on what should be a weekly basis from now on.

In case you're new to the rankings, here's how they work: Each week, our expert mascot-ranker by the name of "Masc-Scott" will do a deep dive on mascots from across the sports world and rank them based on what they did in the seven days prior.

For the first edition of the Mascot Power Rankings in what feels like forever, we're doing things a little differently.  Think of this as the start of "Season 2" of the rankings.

Seeing as all the major sports started around the same time (September, October), "Masc-Scott" took everything these mascots have done from September until now into account for this edition of the rankings.

It's the moment you've all been waiting for.  Please hold your applause (and complaints) until the end because IT'S TIME for the latest edition of Mascot Power Rankings and the first of Season 2.

10. NJ Devil, New Jersey Devils (Up 6 spots)

NJ Devil's consistency is on display as he cracks the top-ten once again, in part due to the fact that the mysterious person making the rankings isn't a fan of "Baby Shark."

9. Chip, Colorado Buffaloes (Down 4 spots)

Poor Chip.  Colorado's mascot had a painful fall in the first rankings of Season 2, but what kept the Buffalo in the top-ten was its commitment to keeping its head on after the incident.

8. The Oregon Duck, Oregon Ducks (Up 25 spots)

The Oregon Duck knows what's popping outside of the sports world and Oregon's mascot also starred alongside one of the biggest soccer stars in a commercial.

Dunk on them, Duck!

7. Harry The Hawk, Atlanta Hawks (Up 19 spots)

Harry The Hawk not only danced its heart out, but the Hawk also told a compelling story of viral dance moves and you gotta appreciate when art tells a story.

6. Crunch, Minnesota Timberwolves (Up 30 spots)

This is the inflatable version of Crunch and there are no words to describe the video above.  Congrats Crunch on the 6 spot.

5. Bango, Milwaukee Bucks (Down 2 spots)

Trolling at its finest with the most minimum amount of effort exerted.  Unfortunately for Bango, the top-four is loaded to start Season 2.

4. Gnash, Nashville Predators (Up 10 spots)

Gnash's trolling of the Golden Knights was incredible and the guitar smash is already up there with some of the most iconic in history.

3. Carlton The Bear, Toronto Maple Leafs (Down 1 spot)

Any mascot that can get that reaction out of Auston Matthews and his teammates is automatically in the top-three.  Thank you Carlton for the best video of the season.

2. Cosmo The Cougar, BYU (Up 44 spots)

There's only one mascot that has had a better start to Season 2 than Cosmo.  The BYU mascot came out of nowhere, but its got staying power thanks to incredible dance moves and stunts.

1. Gritty, Philadelphia Flyers (Unranked)

Was there ever a doubt?  Born in the city of the Broad Street Bullies, Gritty is already one of the greatest mascots to walk the earth.

In all honesty, Gritty could have had every spot in the top-ten, but that wouldn't have been fair.  Instead, here are 10 of our favourite Gritty moments (in no particular order).
