On Wednesday morning, the two-time Best Sports Movie ESPY Award winner ran into the Washington Wizards during their morning training session in their hotel.

According to The Washington Post, Wizards rookie Daniel Ochefu spotted Ferrell at their hotel and invited him into their workout. During his brief visit, Ferrell also gave the team a few pointers heading into an important Game 5 on Wednesday night.

“He was really nice, he was just talking basketball with us,” Smith said to Ava Wallace of The Washington Post.

“He said, ‘I’m pulling for you guys. Key to the game — you need to shut down Isaiah. I think if you guys shut down Isaiah, you’ll have a real chance.’ We all looked at each other like, ‘Ohh! Well now that he’s said it!’ ”

Clearly everyone in the room was thinking the same thing, but it’s easier said than done.
