The Winnipeg Jets are about to embark on their second playoff series in the second installment of the team franchise, and they’re going to reward their fans with one hell of a party.

Sitting second in the Central division, the Jets will face their rivals from the south, the Minnesota Wild, in Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

With the playoffs back in Winnipeg for the first time since 2015, Jets fans will be rockin’ the whiteout look inside the Bell MTS Centre, as well as outside. The team and city of Winnipeg announced that Winnipeg Whiteout Street Party, which according to this tweet, will “give all fans a place to cheer on (Canada’s team) the Winnipeg Jets.

In an interview with Randy Turner of the Winnipeg Free Press, Winnipeg major Brian Bowman decided to take a tongue-in-cheek jab at Toronto fans about the possibility mother nature taking its toll on the Jets fans bearing the cold in Winnipeg.

"Even if it's snowing out, people will show up," Bowman said. "We're Winnipeggers. This isn't Toronto. We'll show up and deal with the snow."

Shot fired.

Before every Jets home playoff game, two giant screens will be put up, with food and alcohol available for purchase. The big block party will commence two hours before puck drop and will wrap after half an hour after the games end. Admission is free, of course.

You can find out more information below on all the festivities.

Who are you cheering for as Canada's team: Winnipeg, Toronto, or neither?

You can bet Leafs fans will be tweeting the mayor of photos like this:

Let the fun begin. The Jets have still yet to win a playoff game since returning to Winnipeg.
