A week after the Buffalo Bills welcomed the defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots to town, the Bills welcoming one of the worst teams to New Era Field in the form of the 3-9 Indianapolis Colts.

If you’re in the market to attend a cheap NFL game and don’t mind that the competition will be, well, rather ordinary, then this match is for you.

One could say that the Bills and Colts game isn’t exactly the hottest selling ticket in Buffalo this weekend. According to Stub Hub, tickets are available for as low as $4 USD in the upper bowl. If you pay a whopping one dollar more, you can upgrade to the lower bowl!

Fans were paying upwards of $100 for a ticket between the Bills and Pats last week in which New England thumped Buffalo 23-3. The result from that game likely played a part in setting the price for this week’s game.

Indianapolis is all but eliminated from post-seasons contention, while the Bills are in a dog fight for one of the AFC Wild Card spots sitting at 6-6. The Bills desperately need a win to keep in the thick of things, so it comes as a bit of a surprise as to why tickets on the secondary market are coming in so low.

If you dig a little deeper, factors like Tyrod Taylor potentially missing the game with a knee injury are likely to drive the price down. Nathan Peterman hasn’t looked up to par whatsoever, throwing five interceptions in his only start of the season. Temperatures are expected to be in the low 20’s (-6 celsius), meaning Bills fans are likely to stay inside the lovely confines of their own home or favourite bar, instead of braving the cold at New Era.

Not even the colour rush uniforms generated a spike in attendance!
