Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather’s superfight may be either fighter’s most memorable fight, regardless of it was either of their best.
With so many different platforms to consume media in the digital age, the population’s attention is often totally divided that it’s rare to get a moment that everyone will remember. Whether you watched the fight or not, even just the hype surrounding it will be remembered for years to come. One of the most common ways for moments like these to be remembered is through the photos that come from the event and there were several greats from last night.
From landed punches to moments that tell the true stories of the fight, these were the four that stood out to us as the most iconic to come from Mayweather vs. McGregor.
In there, you can see McGregor landing one of the best punches to ever connect with Mayweather (There aren’t many to choose from), Mayweather putting an end to the fight, the two showing mutual respect after a well-received fight and of course McGregor talking to the referee. The referee is one that sticks out to us, because the ending is something that will always stick to the fight.
While we will never see a rematch of this fight, the conclusion left much to be desired in that there were many ‘What Ifs’. McGregor himself added fuel to the fire by stating that he felt the fight was stopped early and giving examples of why he still had a chance to win.
