The chances of a pro making a hole-in-one are 2,500 to 1.

You're probably wondering how we know that odd and interesting fact, and as much as we'd like to take credit for researching the stat, the truth is we discovered it on the European Tour's Twitter account.

The stat was from a video we're going to share with you of a European Tour pro trying to make a hole-in-one in 500 tries, and the golfer, Edoardo Molinari, nearly lost it attempting to accomplish this incredibly difficult feat.

Molinari got close to making a hole-in-one a number of times, but he ultimately couldn't accomplish the objective.

Thankfully, though, he didn't lose it and pull a Happy Gilmore in the process.

Even though he didn't make a hole-in-one, Molinari missed the green twice out of 500 shots, and that in itself has to count for something.
