As much as hockey is a game of physicality, intensity and at times bad blood, it's also a game of sportsmanship and respect.

Logan Couture displayed both of those things last week in a game against the Canucks.

Before we get to that game, though, we need to revisit a game on January 20th in which Henrik Sedin tallied his 1,000th career point against the Florida Panthers.

It was a special moment to say the least for Henrik to reach the milestone at home and with Roberto Luongo in net.

Now, fast forward to February 2nd, Canucks versus Sharks in Vancouver.  Ahead of a faceoff between Hank and Couture, the Sharks forward took the time to kind congratulate Sedin on the milestone.

That's what hockey is all about right there.  Sure, the games get intense and players get into it sometimes, but if everyone is respectful and displays sportsmanship it makes the game that much better, and it sets a good example for all the young hockey players out there.

And, in case you were wondering, the Sharks won that game earlier this month 4-1.
