The St. Louis Blues acquired Brayden Schenn from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Jori Lehtera, a 2017 first-round pick and 2018 conditional first-round pick back in June and the 26-year-old is off to a fantastic start with his new club.

Through Schenn’s first four games with the Blues, he’s potted two goals and added three assist for five points and owns a plus-five rating and was looking to keep the hottest start of his career going on the road against the Florida Panthers on Thursday night.

Although the game’s in Florida, Schenn still managed to spot some traveling Blues fans in the stands during the pre-game warm ups and managed to make one fan’s day.

The young fan was probably just hoping for a fist bump or some recognition from Schenn, but instead he ended up walking away with one of Schenn’s game-used sticks.

Schenn is quickly becoming a fan favourite in St. Louis for his place on the ice and actions like this are only going to make that fan base larger.
