The continuous moves consequently means Elliot has a collection of goalie masks. In both St. Louis and Calgary, the tendy rocked a moose on each of his helmets.

‘Moose’, as he is known as around the league, decided to continue the trend on his new Flyers mask. For the most part, the helmet isn’t over the top, with a simple, clean design on the front and sides. But when you examine the back, you’ll see the animal with the initials 'B.E.' on its nose. The logo of Elliot’s Alma Matter, the Wisconsin Badgers, who he played four years for from 2003-07, can also be seen on the left side.

Very nice.

Elliot is just one of numerous goaltenders to release their new artwork this offseason. Recently, Winnipeg Jets goaltender Michael Hutchinson unveiled his incredible new mask that honours a former WWII veteran and Jets fan nicknamed ‘Kroppy’.

The designs on goalie helmets have only gotten better throughout the years, and there’ll be a whole lot of new ones featured in the 2017-18 season.
