Bryce Harper is having quite the year for the Washington Nationals.

Through 52 games, the 24-year-old has 46 RBI while batting .325 with a .435 OBP, and already has 15 home runs after hitting 24 in 147 games last season.

On Thursday night, the 2015 NL MVP continued to add to his impressive bounce back season by doing something you don’t see on an everyday basis.

During Harper’s second at-bat of the night in the bottom of the second inning, he connected on a pitch that ended up going into foul territory, but he still managed to knock the cover off the baseball while doing so.

Not many people can say they’ve done that to a baseball during their lifetime, but we’re guessing Harper was a huge fan of Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez as a kid.
