There were a lot of awesome moments from last season in the NHL, and those moments have continued into the offseason.

Monday, for example, Phil Kessel broke the internet with his legendary picture he took with the Stanley Cup.

The moment we're going to focus on right now, though, happened during the season and resurfaced this summer.

During a game between the Calgary Flames and San Jose Sharks, rookie Matthew Tkachuk stole Brent Burns' stick, took it to the bench and eventually was given a penalty.

While the moment was a heated one between both players, they did exchange sticks after the game, as per Brent Burns, and Tkachuk tweeted a picture of the stick with a wonderful message from Burns to prove it:

Here's the picture of the stick in case you wanted a closer look:

Obviously things sometimes get a little out of hand during games, but it's always cool to see players leave what happened on the ice right there and do things like this.

Based on other things the two have posted on social media, both players also seem to be enjoying the summer away from the rink, too.
