For whatever reason, the Toronto Maple Leafs decided to decrease their Twitter following to just one. The lucky lone user? Team President and Governor Brendan Shanahan.
The whole thing is a bit fishy. Why would the team randomly do this? It couldn’t possibly have been to improve their followers/following ratio, could it have?
BarDown cartoonist Pengellyink, believes that the team’s greatest rival had something to do with it.
Now that both teams are out of the playoffs, there’s been plenty of time to get up to all sorts of shenanigans, so who knows? Maybe it was the Canadiens?
