Like almost anything in life, there are positives and negatives about Twitter.
In regards to the sports world, the positives are pretty obvious: breaking news can be relayed in a fast manner, teams and players can interact with fans and it's an easy way for fans to keep up with their favourite players.
It's always cool when fans and teams follow fans back, too, as something as minuscule as that can make someone's day.
Unfortunately, everyone the Leafs followed before Friday might be upset as the team unfollowed everybody except for one person:
It makes sense that Brendan Shanahan is the one person the team's account now follows, but why not continue following the players, too?
It's a question fans were probably asking themselves when they discovered the Leafs were unfollowing everyone on Twitter, and some fans were not happy about the team's choice to do so.
The team hasn't taken to Twitter to explain why they made the decision to unfollow everyone but Shanny on Twitter, but we imagine there is a good reason behind the move.
