In any sport, All-Star games are supposed to be fun and entertaining.

The NBA's All-Star game is certainly very entertaining as players don't play any defence at all and they have a lot of fun in the process.

While entertaining, the game certainly isn't very competitive, and there's always room for improving the All-Star game.

This year's edition of the annual event was criticized by fans and players alike for the lack of competitiveness, but don't worry basketball fans, Chris Paul has an idea to make the game more competitive.

As per ESPN's Kevin Pelton, Adam Silver said Paul proposed to him that captains draft the teams, something that both the NHL and NFL have tried before, in the hopes of making the game a little more competitive.

We like the proposal from Paul as the draft would surely be fun to watch and it would be fun to see the likes of LeBron James and Stephen Curry on the same team, or Curry going against his Golden State teammates in the actual game for once.

If the NBA does choose to go the route that the NHL and NFL have gone for their All-Star games, we doubt there will be a moment better than Alexander Ovechkin taking a picture of Phil Kessel after he was the last pick in the draft.
