A lot of people expected the Vegas Golden Knights to be a mess their inaugural season, but they’re still the talk of the NHL as they’ve put together seven wins in their first eight games.

One of the reasons for their early success has been the play of veteran winger David Perron. In eight games, the former first round draft pick has scored two goals to go along with three assists for five points, and ranks third on the team in points.

With the team set to wrap up their seven-game home stand on Friday night against the Colorado Avalanche, Perron used his day off on Thursday to help teach his son, Mason, how to skate at the Golden Knights’ practice facility.

This is easily the most adorable thing we’ve seen all week.
