Doug Flutie didn’t spend a lot of time with the Toronto Argonauts, but the time he did spend with them was very memorable.

In Flutie’s two seasons with the Argonauts he won back-to-back Grey Cup titles and Grey Cup MVP awards, and was also named as the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player and a CFL All-Star each season.

On Monday night, the Argonauts honoured one of the greatest CFL quarterbacks of all-time by naming him as an All-Time Argo.

Ahead of the game, the team handed out special edition Doug Flutie bobbleheads to the fans as a special promotion for the night.

We caught up with the legendary quarterback ahead of the game and asked for his thoughts on the likeliness of his bobblehead.

What does #DougFlutie think about his bobblehead? 🤔

Flutie doesn’t exactly see the resemblance between him and his bobblehead, but he said he’s seen worse; which we’d really like to see.

The Manchester, Maryland native was a star during his time in the CFL, especially with the Argonauts, and he even had his own Flutie Flakes hit local super markets at one point during his career.

Fans didn’t have to wait until they were inside the stadium to see Flutie, though, as the six-time CFL’s Most Outstanding Player joined them during the tailgate to sign some autographs and toss them some Hail Mary passes.

The three-time Grey Cup champion and Argonauts head coach Marc Trestman had a special guest in attendance for the big night, New York Giants wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who happened to be taking in his very first CFL game in his first ever trip to Canada.

Marshall played under Trestman for two seasons while they were with the Chicago Bears and where Marshall put together two of his best seasons of his career.
