The New York Giants were hit hard on Sunday when star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was forced to leave their game against the Chargers in what would be later diagnosed as a season-ending fractured ankle.

To add salt in the wound, the Giants found out that offseason signing Brandon Marshall would miss the remainder of the season with his own injury, and also lost sophomore Sterling Shephard also was forced to leave Sunday’s match with, you guessed it, an ankle injury.

Thank u all for your prayers. You better believe I'll be back better than ever. God Speed

Beckham Jr. is one of the most popular NFL players out there, making him a celebrity amongst his peers, and is often seen with some of the biggest personalities out there. OBJ obviously wishes Drake didn’t have to visit his friend in the hospital, but at least he was giving props to his pal.

Look who showed up to support OBJ in the hospital.👀 . (Via @champagnepapi)

The Toronto rapper shouted out Odell’s one-handed catch in his 2014 song “Fake Love.”  Beckham is expected to make a full recovery and be back on the field next season.
