The basketball world is still trying to wrap their heads around the fact that New York Knick legend Charles Oakley was escorted out of Madison Square Garden and arrested less than five minutes into the Knicks’ game on Wednesday night.

We’ve heard what the team’s PR department had to say about the whole thing, as well as Oakley himself, but current NBA players are giving their two cents on the whole situation as well.

LeBron James was the first player to react to what happened with Oakley at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night by posting this photo and caption on his Instagram account.

On Thursday afternoon, James’ former teammate Dwyane Wade joined in on the conversation by following in James’ footsteps and posting a photo and caption on his Instagram account.

10years!!! 10 years Oak gave everything he had for this organization and the image everyone will be left with won't be this picture. It will be the imagine of him being taken down to

the ground last night in the same arena he gave his all 2 as a player by the guards! This Could happen to any of us!!! #StayWoke We are not above this treatment!

We’re not surprised at all that D-Wade was the next big superstar to step up and speak out about this, because he was also the first person to have James’ back after the four-time NBA MVP destroyed Charles Barkley in a rant on live television.  His caption was a bit more powerful than James’, tough, as he pretty much let the current players know that they need to have each other’s backs because it’s all a just a business to some people.
