UFC Fight Night is underway in Long Island and the fighters have been putting on quite the show for the audience early on into the event.

During the prelims, former Alabama and Calgary Stampeders linebacker Eryk Anders made his UFC debut and it was definitely a fight he’ll remember for the rest of his life.

Going toe-to-toe with UFC veteran Rafael Natal, Anders made sure his debut was a quick one as he wasted no time knocking out his opponent.

Anders was eager to get his debut underway as he was all over Natal right from the beginning and then finished him off with some massive left hands.

The Birmingham, Alabama native played for the Alabama Crimson Tide from 2006 to 2009 and was responsible for a key forced fumble in Alabama’s 2009 BCS National Championship victory. After his college career wrapped up, Anders signed a free agent contract with the Cleveland Browns, before spending a short stint with the Calgary Stampeders in 2010.

Although his football career didn’t work out in his favour, his mixed martial arts career has been an impressive one as he improves to 9-0 as a professional and 1-0 in the UFC with his KO over Natal.
