Hall found out Matthews wasn't playing during media scrum and he reacted how every player would

When Auston Matthews scored four goals in his NHL debut over a year ago, Roberto Luongo had the best tweet in reaction to the historic debut.

In conclusion, NHL players have recognized the greatness of Matthews and they know what kind of challenge he presents on a nightly basis.

Luckily for the New Jersey Devils, Auston Matthews isn't in the lineup Thursday night for their game against the Leafs.

Obviously nobody wants a player to be out for a game with an injury, but Matthews not being in the lineup is a plus from the Devils' perspective because it gives them a better chance to win.

When Taylor Hall found out Matthews wasn't playing Thursday night, his reaction was priceless.

Hall found out during his scrum which made the reaction all the more awesome.

The Devils will try to extend their winning streak to three games, but even though Matthews isn't playing, it won't be an easy task as the Leafs have won four straight.
