Joel Embiid is an absolute character that provides great entertainment for the NBA and its fans off the court through his social media game.

Out on the hardwood, we haven’t really seen the 76ers centre take his strong off-court personality into games, although he’s definetly taken some strides in that department this preseason. Part of that is because, well, he simply can't stay healthy

“The Process” is looking to an have injury-free season and allow the Sixers to take a step into respectability with their young, promising core.

Embiid was matched up against Hassan Whiteside on Friday night in the Sixers final preseason tune up. When Embiid suckered Whiteside in grabbing his third foul in the first quarter, the 23-year-old native of Cameroon started chirping the Heat’s bench, telling them to sub their centre out because he was doing a poor job of defending Embiid.

Check out who replied on the video.

The on court trash talking continued onto Twitter, with both players taking numerous shots at each other.

And that's when things went from 0-100 real quick.

Embiid was holding no prisoners, as he then decided to make fun of Kevin Durant’s fake “burner” Twitter account once again.

Naturally, Whiteside fired back with a predictable, yet effective chirp.

There’s never a dull day when you’re processing. Embiid and the Sixers finished up the preseason on Friday night, and took the game with a 119-95 win. They’ll open up the season on Wednesday game against the Wizards.

We can’t wait for all the great material he'll provide this season.
