It's never easy playing defence against the Golden State Warriors.

Even without Kevin Durant, the Dubs have three All-Stars in Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, and the "Splash Brothers" are arguably the two best shooters of all-time.

Still, an honest effort at the very least on the defensive end can go a long way, but Monday night the Hawks effort at times was much less than honest.

In fact, one play really sums up their night.  In the third quarter, Dennis Schroder and Dwight Howard were arguing and Curry took advantage by nailing an open 3 to give the Warriors the lead.

The Warriors led by just two points after the triple, but they would lead for the rest of the game, too, eventually winning 119-111.

Schroder, on the other hand, came back in the game briefly after his defensive mishap before being subbed out in the third and not playing another minute of the game.

Despite not playing the final 21 or so minutes of the game, Schroder still led the Hawks with a team high 23 points, but 19 of those points were scored in the first quarter alone.
