New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist pretty much broke the internet earlier this week when shared out a picture of his incredible new pads for the upcoming NHL season.
The pads are a very nice tribute to both the New York Rangers and New York City, but he didnāt stop at the pads when it comes to new equipment for the upcoming campaign.
It turns out Lundqvist also had a new mask created for the 2017-18 season, like he tends to do every season, and he turned to professional artist David Gunnarsson to get the job done.
Known as āThe Holy Maskā, the 35-year-old Rangers goalie had Gunnarsson make his new mask look like itās made out of a stained glass window.
Lundqvist's new mask has a much different look and feel to it than the masks heās used over the past two seasons.
One thingās for sure, Lundqvist is going to look very sharp between the pipes next season with his brand new gear from head to toe.
