On Tuesday, Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta made a comment about bat flips in MLB. He basically stated that veteran players who have earned it can rightfully do so, but young players need to earn respect before they’re allowed to bat flip.

Well, it doesn’t matter what anyone says, if someone wants to bat flip then they are going to do it, no matter what league they’re playing in. A couple of weeks ago, high school slugger Dakota Limon out of Austin High School in Austin, Texas hit a monstrous home run and celebrated in a way that would make Jose Bautista very, very proud.

And to think everyone in Texas was against bat flipping after Jose Bautista pulled of his iconic bat flip back in 2015. Limon pulled off one of the most vicious bat flips we have ever seen.
