When it comes to shootout goals, Pavel Datsyuk is the master magician and everyone else is behind him.

Even at the age of 39, the Magic Man is still just that and he's inspired hockey players everywhere with his creative shootout goals.

The latest example of that comes from a player playing in Finland for TPS Turku in the SM-ligga.

34-year-old David Spina attempted a Datsyukian-like deke, but he took it to a whole other level and in a second you'll see how:

Spina got the goalie with the fake, but it looked like he got in too tight to fire it home for the easy goal, so instead he flicked the puck up and over the goalie's head to the far side of the next for one of the greatest shootout goals you'll ever see.

That may be the goal of the year and the hockey season hasn't even started yet, that's how ridiculous it was.

Spina has some early competition, though, as the summer has been awesome for great hockey highlights.
