When Montreal fans got the notification that the Habs had traded for Jordie Benn, they probably had to do a double take at first glance to make sure it was Jordie rather than his brother Jamie.

Both played for the Dallas Stars, but now Jordie is in Montreal as the Canadiens continue their push towards the playoffs.

Obviously while he was in Dallas, Jordie was overshadowed by his brother Jamie, who is one of the best players in the NHL, so it's fair to suggest that he didn't command a lot of attention as a Star.

Now that he's a new member of one of the most storied franchises in sports, though, the spotlight is shining brightly on him, as was the case in a media scrum on Tuesday.

Although the saying is everything is bigger in Texas, that's not the case when it comes to hockey, and Jordie found that out first hand.

As much as he'll miss being on the same team and playing with his brother, we're sure he's happy to be in the thick of a playoff race as the Habs are in first in the Atlantic.

It was a hell of a ride brotha...Good luck in MTL!!
