Kevin Durant faced criticism all season long for leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors, but he quickly silenced those critics in the playoffs by stepping up when it mattered the most and was named the NBA Finals MVP.

Durant is letting his first NBA title slowly sink and he got the summer started by taking out a full page ad in the San Francisco Chronicle to thank the Warriors staff and fans for everything this past season

Durant has already stated that he wouldn’t mind taking a pay cut in order to keep last year’s Warriors team intact, so this might not be the last time we see KD thanking the Bay Area for all their support.
