Metallurg Mg and Ak Bars recently wrapped up their KHL Eastern Conference finals series and it didn’t last very long.

Despite trailing all series long and getting swept, Ak Bars did not go down without a fight. Already trailing 2-0 in Game 4 and in desperate need of a win on home ice, the team did whatever they could to get on the board before the end of the period and it ended up working in their favour.

After getting knocked down to the ice, Ak Bars forward Justin Azevedo still manages to find a way to set up former NHLer Jiri Sekac for their first goal of the game.

Unfortunately, that would be the only goal of the game as Metallurg Mg went on to win 4-1 and sweep the series.
