Johansson, who scored the game-tying goal in regulation, also netted the series-clinching goal with the assist coming from 'Mr. Game 7' who tormented Leafs fans all series long.

Before the extra frame, a lot of people were predicting Williams would score the goal, though, which is understandable considering his playoff past.

Johansson, however, told Williams he was going to score the winner in a really cool conversation before overtime, as per Isabelle Khurshudyan of the Washington Post:

"I've got it."  You have to be extremely confident in yourself to tell Mr. Game 7 you've got it in the biggest moment of the series, and Johansson clearly was as everyone discovered shortly into the extra frame.

The two goals in Game 6 were the first ones of the playoffs for Johansson, and having his scoring will be key going forward as the Capitals need a balanced attack if they want to get past the second round of the playoffs for the first time since the 1997-98 season.
