Fans and players congratulated Russ on winning his first MVP, but the coolest congratulatory message he got was from Michael Jordan.

The message was short and sweet, but it was also very powerful.

Jordan won his first MVP for his incredible 1987-88 season and he didn't win his first tittle until the 1990-91 season when he was 27-years-old.

Westbrook is 28 and chances are he'll probably win another MVP before winning his first championship thanks to Kevin Durant and the Warriors.

That said, he's so talented and humble that you the basketball world shouldn't count him or the Thunder out.

Russell Westbrook teared up thanking his brother during his MVP speech.
