The bromance you are about to explore is the most underrated one in hockey, on and off the ice.

The Jets have struggled in the standings this season, which has taken some of the punch out of how impressive their young players have been this season. Mark Scheifele is up to fifth in NHL scoring this season – with 60 points in 59 games – but it’s the next two in line that have formed a bromance in the NHL.

Patrik Laine and Nikolaj Ehlers have formed one of the best duos in the NHL this season.

Laine is tied for the rookie lead in goals and leads in points, with a 28-24-52 (G-A-P) line in 54 games this season. Of course, Laine has been talked about a lot, but his partner in crime, Ehlers, has received much less attention. He’s not a rookie, but he was drafted in the same year as William Nylander and is having a similarly impressive season.

Of course, the Leafs young forwards have received a lot of attention, especially focusing on the bond building between them.

However, just like on the ice, the Jets have something special forming off it too.

If you’ve been paying attention, this is the first time they’ve called it a bromance, but their actions have been saying it all along.

Here are some of their best moments together from this season.
