Pulling off a triple play is one of the toughest things to do in baseball, which is why the Cincinnati Reds haven’t been able to pull one off since 1995.
However, that all changed on Tuesday night in New York.
With the bases loaded in the bottom of the second inning, the Reds managed to turn their first triple play in over 20 years and just the seventh in team history, but it was one like you’ve probably never seen before.
Since the bases were loaded, the Yankees still managed to score a run in the inning, despite being the victims of the Reds’ first triple play in 22 years.
