After the first $1 million contract was signed in sports, it changed the way players negotiated.

Now, baseball players have taken contract signings to another level by including some ridiculous, yet amazing perks in their new contracts.

Last month, Manny Ramirez’s contract details with his new Japanese baseball team were released and included some amazing perks like optional practices and unlimited sushi.

1. Ramirez will wear No. 99 and the back of his jersey will read “Manny”

2. He will have use of a Mercedes and driver

3. Practices are optional

4. Personal hotel suite on the road

5. Unlimited sushi for the entire season

Now, there’s another baseball player’s contract making headlines because of the random perks included, and it happens to belong to Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor.

Odor recently signed a new six-year, $49.5 million contract with the Rangers, and one of the perks on his new contract happens to be a pair of horses.

The Rangers’ second baseman now has four horses thanks to his new multi-million dollar deal, but unlimited sushi, optional practices and a private suite on the road might take the cake for the ultimate contract perks.
