Stephen A. Smith’s post-fight debate descended into food-focused madness

While very few were disappointed by the theatrics of the big superfight last night, there’s no denying that the entirety of the event was very long.

We’re not sure of how much the SportsCenter panel had to eat during throughout the night, but they clearly had food on their mind as things were wrapping up. As Stephen A. Smith and ESPN boxing expert Teddy Atlas were discussing whether or not the fight was a good one, the discussion was permanently shifted into a yelling match about food metaphors.

The two analysts couldn’t agree on whether or not it was an entertaining fight, but we can all agree that this was a wildly entertaining debate.

So, maybe you can tell us – Was this fight a burger or a steak?

We know one thing: the prices and attention it received were definitely that of a perfectly cooked steak. Whether or not that menu item is what was delivered is pretty subjective, but from the reactions we saw last night, it didn’t seem like to many people were sending their plate back.
