Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact went back and forth in two exciting games in the Canadian Championship. After walking away from the first leg of the series locked in a 1-1 draw, everything was on the line on Tuesday night in Toronto.

Just like for most of the first game, the two teams were locked in a 1-1 draw for a majority of the game, until Sebastian Giovinco struck in the dying seconds of the match.

The referee originally said there would be an extra three minutes of playing time, but after a questionable red card was handed out to Impact’s Patrice Bernier in the 90th minute, he extended the injury time for a couple more minutes and that’s when Giovinco struck.

As you can probably guess, Toronto FC’s loyal fans are more than happy about their club’s big win.

It’s the sixth time Toronto FC has won the Canadian Championship and the second time in as many years.
