Game 2 of the NBA Finals Sunday night was somewhat similar to that of Game 1 in the sense that LeBron James was once again superhuman.

He kept the Cavs afloat in the first half once again, but Golden State took over in the third quarter to secure a 2-0 series lead for the second straight year.

James recorded a triple-double in the loss, and once again his incredible outing earned him a seat on the podium for the post-game press conference.

LeBron, though, decided to skip out in favour of a scrum, and there's a perfectly good reason as to why he chose to go that route.

Obviously there will be fans that call James salty for skipping out on the post-game presser, but after a loss, the last thing any player wants to do is wait.

Plus, he fielded and answered every question thrown his way during the scrum, so it's not like he avoided questions or anything like that.

James and the Cavs will try and protect home court on Wednesday night, and who knows, maybe if they win, we might see LeBron at the podium, but if we don't, you now know the reason why.
