For a while it seemed like the bout between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather was never going to take place, but now we find ourselves less than two months away from it actually happening.
Just about every single mixed martial arts fan and boxing fan will have their eyes on the superfight when it takes place at the end of August, but some fans think it’s going to be a joke.
However, the trailer put together by SHOWTIME Sports will get just about everyone excited for the fight.
Both sides are expected to walk away with a minimum of $100 million each regardless of the results, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to take it easy at any point in the fight. McGregor needs to back up all the trash talking he’s done over the past six months, while Mayweather needs to keep his perfect record intact to remind everyone who the king of the boxing world is.
The international press tour for the bout gets underway next week and will make stops in Los Angeles, Toronto and New York before wrapping up in London, England.
