We're big fans of crazy coincidences in sports and we got one on Wednesday night when Game 7 of the World Series ended.

The coincidence involves Justin Verlander, but before we reveal it to you, we want to take you back to the trade deadline because the trade that sent the 34-year-old to Houston happened moments before the deadline.

The Astros completed the deal with a minute to go and Verlander rewarded them by going 9-1 (4-1 in the playoffs, ALCS MVP) and helping Houston win its first World Series in franchise history.

Back to the coincidence, the Astros traded for Verlander at 11:59 EDT back in August and Wednesday night, Game 7 ended at 11:59 EDT.

That's the perfect ending and coincidence to a storybook run for the Houston Astros in our opinion.
