Thursday night, the Leafs and Devils battled with win streaks on the line as New Jersey came into the game with a two-game win streak and Toronto had won four in a row.

The two teams combined for 67 shots (42 from the Devils), but the only goal came in overtime as William Nylander scored with 2.2 seconds left to give the Leafs the victory.

Nylander earned second star of the game honours and he decided to give a souvenir to one of his biggest fans after coming out to a wonderful applause.

The ultimate souvenir. #TMLtalk

Nylander made that fan's day and William had to feel pretty good about ending his scoring drought that dated back to October 21st.

Remember, though, if you're planning on bringing a sign to the game, just make sure it can't backfire on you in any way because everyone is watching.
