Nashville was one of the best-kept secrets in the NHL until this year’s playoffs.

From performances from different country music stars on a nightly basis to celebrity guests riling up the crowd and tossing catfish onto the ice, the entire Preds fan base has done a fantastic job during the postseason to show the hockey world how much the game means to them and what 'Smashville' is all about.

For fans who didn’t know much about the Predators’ fan base before this postseason, they might think that a lot of them are jumping on the bandwagon now that their team is a couple of victories away from their first Stanley Cup, but they’ve actually been one of the most loyal fan bases in recent years.

With the Stanley Cup Final in Nashville for the first time in the franchise’s existence, people are taking their fandom to the next level and doing whatever it takes to be part of the celebration.

The Predators’ Game 4 victory meant that the series would be returning to Nashville for one more game, when the two teams go head-to-head in Game 6 on Sunday night. Since there’s a chance the Preds could hoist the Stanley Cup on home ice, fans are dropping ridiculous amounts of money to be in attendance.

These Preds fans ended up with some pretty sweet seats for Game 6, as they’ll be sitting right behind their team’s bench. However, when you split the final cost by three, each ticket averages out to around $10,067.33 USD, which converts to around $13,537.04 CAD. They weren't the only ones who dropped some serious coin.

As of Tuesday night, the cheapest ticket on StubHub is $1,745.25 USD ($2,346.92 CAD), which is basically a seat in the last row in the building, and the most expensive listing is a pair of front row seats going for $30,005.25 USD ($40,339.84 CAD).
