If you were watching basketball on Friday night, it was most likely the March Madness Sweet 16 games. But for the fans out there that decided to watch the NBA, in particular the Suns and Celtics game, you witnessed something special.

In a 130-120 loss to the Boston Celtics, 20-year-old guard Devin Booker put together a Kobe-esque performance and dropped 70 points. 70 POINTS!

Booker is just the 6th player in NBA history to record 70 points and the first to do so since Kobe Bryant scored 81 in 2006 against the Raptors, and is also the youngest player in NBA history to score at least 60 points in a game.

For those of you who love stats, here are Booker’s incredible numbers (he only hit four 3-pointers!)

Let’s be real. The Suns currently hold a 22-51 record and sit 2nd last in the Western Conference, but give your teammate a little support and grab that W. The Suns put up 130 points and the next player behind Booker recorded 11 points. No wonder their season has ended up the way it has.

At least the youngest team in NBA history was proud of #1.

Other athletes took notice of his historic performance and reached out to the youngster.
