Cue the pyjama boy jokes.

A young New York Islanders fan by the name of Charlie Campbell had to switch rooms because of the upcoming birth of his new sibling.

Since his parents, Ashleigh and Keith Campbell, were worried that Charlie might not like his new room, they decided to deck it out in Islanders memorabilia and make it a hockey-themed bedroom.

Included are hockey sticks hanging and Stanley Cup banners from their dynasty in the mid '80s hanging above his hockey rink bed.

The light in his room with the rink below is a neat touch.

Can you imagine all the mini-stick battles that'll be brewing in Charlie's room with his young sibling?

When his parents gave Charlie the option to chose the theme of his new room, they offered him Thomas the Tank Engine, but being a diehard Islanders fan at just age 3, Charlie went with the hockey theme.

Danielle played for SUNY-Maritime at a club level and gathered some of her teammates' old sticks, as well as grabbing a few from the Islanders practice facility.

"My favourite part is the hockey sticks on the bed," Ashleigh said NHL.com. "[Keith] and I love Game of Thrones, so it's got that kind of Iron Throne thing going there, but I also really love it because it's sticks from three of my friends, so it's not just like random sticks that I found in the trash. It's kind of got an emotional connection to me."

"As soon as we got the bed in there, he's like, 'This is my room, and the other room is the baby's room,'" Ashleigh said. "I was like, 'Good, we don't have to worry about any of that.' Mission accomplished."

Go get 'em, Charlie!
