There is a tight bond between fans of any sport and when you find out someone you know or a stranger supports the same club as you; it can make you grow fond of each other.
Now if we were lost at sea sports wouldn’t be the first thing on our mind but a fisherman who was being rescued was elated when the man who rescued him (a Liverpool fan) said Sadio Mane who is from the same country as the man lost at sea.
There is always common ground to be had, even when you’re lost at sea!
