Since their inaugural season, the New Jersey Devils have had pretty much the same jersey design. In more recent years, the team has used both red and white as their jersey’s main colours for both their home and away jerseys, opting for their retro green colour for special nights.
Though a possible third jersey has leaked online and we’re honestly at a loss for words.
The new jersey, which is a black base and has “Jersey” written across its chest, has not only us, but tons of hockey fans confused.
Surely the “Jersey” has to represent New Jersey, but it’s clear where fans would be confused on why the word jersey would just be written across a jersey’s chest.
Though of course, these aren’t official jerseys, but regardless we are at a loss for words.
And hockey fans did not shy away from sharing their thoughts on the rather confusing jersey.
