The Tampa Bay Lightning are only 2 games away from moving onto the Stanley Cup final for the second year in a row!

The Bolts are up in the series after a 2-1 win over the New York Islanders on Thursday.

So far there’s been a TON of action in their conference final. Let’s go back to game 2 for an example. Bolts centre Brayden Point picked up a pretty controversial call that resulted in the Islanders scoring on their powerplay. Point got called for goalie interference after running into Semyon Varlamov mid-way through the first period. Luckily for Tampa, they got the goal back and ended up taking that game with a 4-2 win. Even with the win, NHL fans are still debating if Point should have even gotten a penalty.

Referee, Dan O'Rourke explained on Friday why he believes Point deserved the 2-minute minor.

You could say he wasn’t a big fan of the play!
