We know that Adam Jones and Marcus Stroman love to perform out on the field. The two American born players are some of the more animated players in baseball, and aren’t afraid to speak their minds, or give fans a special showing out on the field.

Teammates at the 2017 World Baseball Classic and friends off the field, Jones faced his good friend on the mound of Sunday, and jokingly mocked Stroman’s signature shimmy.

After Jones hit a single in the first inning that scored a run, he then stepped back up to the plate in the fourth. Stroman threw an off-speed pitch that missed down and away, and Jones let his good pal have it.

We should point out that this was all in good nature, and there’s no “beef” between the two. Stroman even liked the tweet afterwards, and really, we need more of this type of stuff to make baseball games more exciting.

What’s funny is that in the same at-bat, Jones hit a double down the left-field line. Jones finished the game 2-for-4 with an RBI. In his career against Stroman, Jones is 7-for-22 for a .318 batting average. Safe to say he enjoys pitching against his pal.

Stroman did get the last laugh, though, as he led the Jays to a 4-1 win over the O's. They'll look for the series sweep on Sunday.
