It’s not every day that you hear a story as inspiring as Shaquem Griffins’. The college star linebacker had all the skills on the field to be an NFL star, but he had one issue that hampered his chances to the point where many thought he would never get a chance – he only has one hand.
The 6’, 227lbs linebacker impressed many with a ridiculous showing at the NFL combine, benching 225 for a shocking 20 reps and running a 4.38 40-yard dash, and now he has been rewarded. The Seattle Seahawks, who also roster Shaquem’s brother Shaquill, took the chance on Griffin with their 5th round (141st overall) pick.
Needless to say, the moment was pretty special.
