You could call this Antonio Brown saga a whole slew of things…
Dramatic, unprecedented, public, greedy, hostile are just a few that come to mind. Another is “confusing”.
AB seems to be picking fights in very strange ways, and the ever unsatisfied offseason finally culminated to the Oakland Raiders voiding his guaranteed money and releasing him from the team just two days before their Monday night matchup with the Denver Broncos.
Part of the reason the issues have been so public is because of Brown’s tendency to air his dirty laundry on social media, including his demand for release from earlier this morning.
With AB clearly trigger happy when it comes to posting on social, it’s no surprise that his silence didn’t last long on the internet. What is surprising is how it came about.
It was to a professional sports team, but not one that you’d expect. In fact, it wasn’t even to a football team at all. AB broke his silence by responding to a Vancouver Canucks tweet asking if he wanted to come on down to training camp.
What!!!
Maybe AB is thinking he can pull a Jalen Ramsey and immediately step onto NHL ice a dominate, or maybe he’s just trying to not appear bitter or negative about this morning’s events. Either way, we would LOVE to see Brown come north of the border and strap on a pair of skates!
